Bonded vs. Non-Bonded Warehouse
A bonded warehouse lets you store imported goods without paying duties until they are sold or re-exported. Our Class 11 bonded warehouse in Kapolei helps Hawaii businesses free up cash flow and lower the upfront cost of importing.
Bonded vs. non-bonded
In a non-bonded warehouse, duties are paid when goods clear customs. In a bonded warehouse, goods stay under U.S. Customs supervision and duties are deferred for up to five years, until the goods are withdrawn for sale or re-exported.
What we offer
- Customs paperwork: We handle Automated Manifest System (AMS) filings, Importer Security Filing (ISF), and the CBP forms your shipments need.
- Manipulation of goods: Under customs supervision, goods can be inspected, sorted, repacked, and relabeled to meet market requirements while still in bond.
- Consolidation & deconsolidation: Combine smaller shipments for export, or break large ones down for distribution.
- Inventory tracking: Real-time reporting shows exactly what you have in bond at any time.
Why work with us
Keeping inventory in a bonded warehouse close to your market is faster and easier to manage than storing it overseas. We take the time to understand your import patterns and build a solution that improves reliability and delivery speed for your customers.
